You may all know that I have a very huge distaste about Katy Perry, the one who sang "I Kissed A Girl" which lead to a lot of teen girls to claim their bi. That one.
Well people are eating her CD's from her new album.
SOURCE
As you may know, I LOATH her new album (review can be read here) and the nauseating aroma it contains on the very CD itself but are people that stupid to think that a compact disc is candy? Apparently, they bought the album so who could blame them?
As you were people...

9/11 & Burn a Qur'an Day
A lot has been said about 9/11. Some positive, some negative, some far out. As for me, I still stand by on what I've said about 9/11 and my opinions. For some that did not read about it, you can see it here on my blog but I'll leave some excerpts...
The people who did it WERE NOT Muslims, They were fanatics.
Real Muslims condemn terrorism.
And heres some actual Qur'anic verses that vouch for REAL Muslim beliefs. Once again, credit goes to friend of mine.
Oh you who believe!
Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to God,
even against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin,
and whether it be against rich or poor,
for God can best protect both.
Follow not the cravings of your hearts, lest you swerve,
and if you distort justice or decline to do justice,
verily God is well acquainted with all that you do.
Qur'an 4:135
The recompense for an injury
is an injury equal thereto (in degree),
but if a person forgives and makes reconciliation,
his reward is due from God,
for God loves not those who do wrong.
But indeed, if any do help and defend themselves
after a wrong done to them,
against such there is no cause of blame.
The blame is only against those who oppress men
with wrongdoing and insolently transgress
beyond bounds through the land,
defying right and justice.
For such there will be a penalty grievous (in the Hereafter).
But indeed, if any show patience and forgive,
that would truly be an affair of great resolution.
Qur'an 42:40-43
Goodness and evil are not equal.
Repel evil with what is better.
Then that person with whom there was hatred,
may become your intimate friend!
And no one will be granted such goodness
except those who exercise patience and self-restraint,
none but people of the greatest good fortune.
Qur'an 41:34-35
Ahh, so true...
One year passed and still stand by it, along with my belief that 9/11 was a lie and a planned attack by the United States government. Still refer to the blog for reasons why. Plus I will not listen to your complaints since I got them last year I posted the said opinion by actual New Yorkers. And I want to make this clear.
If I have offended, I am sorry. I didn't mean to show that I do not have remorse to those who have died in the attack. The poor souls were just in the crossfire in a wide scale conspiracy. Also on the ninth anniversary of 9/11, Americans stopped, as they should, and reflected, whatever they were doing, just to sit there, reflect, do nothing, say nothing - just like Bush did nine years ago when he got the news.
But in the end, whenever we keep obsessing about 9/11, the terrorists win. We don't need to totally forget about it, but we need to move on and stop obsessing over it because if we live in sadness and fear, terrorism has worked.
And for the record, if Americans that think terrorist is a synonym for middle east Muslims should be punched repeatedly in the face unless they're under the age of 10. Seriously no one that's even pre-pubescent should be dumb enough to not know what a terrorists is.
Now for Burn a Qur'an Day.
I HIGHLY disapprove and not the answer. Just ignorance.
I mean, if a bunch of people got together and said "Hey, lets order a bunch of free Christian bibles and burn them..." you can bet your ass there would be some kind of huge freakin' uprising. But, people think it's alright just because it's the holy book of a controversial religion?
It just pisses me off that people can be so ignorant and that this is being broadcasted overseas which gives the idea that Americans are like this in reality most of them are not.
It's pretty much sad that this country was founded on religious tolerance.
But all in all, smile because the world is a gift since were all in this together & wish me me a safe journey if you still like me and you're not one of those people I have managed to offend by doing nothing.
Yours truly...

It's plastic...must be fantastic: a reveiw
Alright, since Interpol’s new self titled album came out yesterday, thought I would review…if I had the record. Sadly I don’t and rather not download it since I support Paul Banks work. So I thought I would stay on the topic of pop albums. Had to get rid of the taste Katy Perry left in my mouth and nostrils.
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you: Goriilaz’s Plastic Beach.
I will be reviewing the “Experience Edition” which features Plastic Beach cover art at night, booklet with partial cut up lyrics, and a DVD with a making of the album. The standard edition features Plastic Beach cover art at sunset without a booklet and DVD. Very flimsy, in my opinion. The Japanese edition (if your able to get a copy) is the same as the “Experience Edition” but has the Plastic Beach at daytime while the iTunes features Plastic Beach at dawn.
Plus the album is, you guessed it, a digipak…which I fucking hate but I can bite the bullet since I love Gorillaz. But one with the songs…
Orchestral Intro : The albums opener featuring ocean ambiance , seagulls, and fog horns, the things you would hear at the docks, along with some nicely placed orchestral strings. Really sets the mood until it transitions to the next song…
Welcome To The World Of The Plastic Beach : Now for the ear-candy by none other by the one and only: Snoop Dogg with Damon Albarn backing vocals. People, if you want any song that involves Snoops guest vocals on a current album, this song would be a safe bet. You get his classic vocals that make him the legend he is along with the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble backing him up with, dare I say it, a nice dope chill beat. A great follow up.
White Flag : For some strange goddamn reason I love the beginning orchestral strings by Lebanese National Orchestra for Oriental Arabic Music in this song. Probably due the fact that I watched Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom over and over till the tape wore out when I was a kid, or I let the Bollywood channel play in the background when I have nothing to do in my room. But none the less, after the intro you get assaulted with amazing raps by Kano and Bashy until the track fades out to the Arabic orchestra. Picking up its pace.
Rhinestone Eyes : 2D (Damon Albarn) takes the front stage by taking the pace with a much slower but upbeat mix of synthesizers and vocals. Slightly undercooked but still stands on its feat.
Stylo : When this song was one of the first singles that was released on January 26, I thought this album would suck epically. Let it be taken by a grain of salt since I took a quick second listen and didn’t give it a chance. I was wrong. Incredible flow with a legendary vocalist, Bobby Womack, taking the wheel with his powerful voice. Plus Bruce Willis was in the video. Sold.
Superfast Jellyfish : Features vocals by De La Soul (the one who provided the vocals on Gorillaz classic: Feel Good Inc.) For some reason, I found this one to be a dud and entirely forgettable and if not by Damon, I wouldn’t give a second glance. Hit and miss if you want to place it that way.
Empire Ants : Absolutely perhaps one of the albums highlights. One of the best. The track starts of very quiet with light acoustic guitar strumming, light piano, with Damon providing relaxing dreamlike vocals. Now heres the auditory orgasm at the 2:11 mark. Little Dragon takes over the entire track by with Yukimi Nagano’s voice and electric keyboards until the song sadly fades out. You won’t believe how many times I had this on repeat. In other words: I FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG. Fanboy moment over.
Plus check out the Loofslaw Remix of the song if your interested
Glitter Freeze : No vocals here, just more beats and synth for four minutes. Could be a DJ samplers delight for them but I lost interest after the minute mark since it was the same beat repeated. An instant skip.
Some Kind Of Nature : Lou Reed provides the lead vocals with Damon sings the chorus. A reminiscing of "Fire Coming Out of the Monkey's Head" of the Demon Days album, which isn’t a bad thing.
On Melancholy Hill : This song reminds me of all those “so bad but its good” songs from eighties due to the intro but like I said, it’s a guilty pleasure song. Feel good lyrics masked by melancholy themes. A great track.
Broken : I wish I could say much about this track but it reminds me WAY too much of Lil Wayne's godawful “Lollipop” song which I fucking loath. A mediocre at best track that could take a few more listens to fully digest.
Sweepstakes : Mos Def at it again with his mumbling voice he’s known for. A very mellow, chill song.
Plastic Beach : The album’s title track, what’s an album without one? Usually they tend to suck trying to tack on the the none existent theme the album wont follow but this doesn’t disappoint. You get two and I repeat, TWO, punk rock legends from The Clash, Mick Jones & Paul Simonon, playing on this song. Do I need to say anymore? Nonetheless, very groovy song with piano that will makes ones head nod to the beat.
To Binge : A song that will convey images of the carnival by dreamy guitar pluckings. A Sonny and Cher inspired piece between Yukimi Nagano & Damon Albarn. Yukimi’s vocals alone makes this a gem for the ears.
Cloud Of Unknowing : Bobby Womack provides a quiet melancholy vocals backed by Sinfonia ViVA, who also provide the albums intro. A daring bet from going from an upbeat song to a ballad that pays off well.
Pirate Jet : The albums closer starts of with the oh so cozy synthesizers this album has provided throughout along with Damon Albarn giving out some closing lyrics until the songs fades out. A slightly bittersweet ending for this album.
Now...the DVD itself.
I won't say much about since its just snippets of home video of everyone in the studio which provides insight on how and why the album was made. Also induces how the artwork was created, not a photoshop, an actual model of Plastic Beach. Plus theres footage of the recording sessions which sound exactly like the tracks on the album. Thats talent for ya, not Auto-Tuned crap. But nonetheless, I found it to be forgettable and a bit unnecessary since you can see said DVD footage up on YouTube.
In conclusion, this sleeper hit that came out unnoticed at the begging of this year is definite purchase if your into well produced pop music. And if your one those "rap is crap" people, please go fuck yourself, run into a jagged knife through your gut, or throw yourself off a skyscrapper because ignorance is not needed. Open your eyes to all kinds of music, or unless your one of those close minded metal d00ds who still think Metallica kicks ass.
Hell, the album introduced me to Little Dragon which I now love. Music does make the world go round, or least to other competent musicians.

More like a teenage nightmare…
Hold on here, I want to get together enough phlegm and nauseated vomit to place on this album. Katy Perry's third album: Teenage Dream.
I got a hold of this album when my mom told me that my grandma found it on the sidewalk when sweeping outside the house this morning. She ended up giving it to her than to me, to rip it and put it in her iPod.
So nonetheless and by contemplation, thought it would be a good idea to review this and maybe hopefully, many other albums I purchase, receive, and download.
First and foremost, the album is a digipak and I FUCKING hate digipaks. True some bands/performers can get away with them I just hate it when albums just consist of cheap cardboard which will in turn, destroy the artwork with various wear and tear. Fuck your eco-minded biodegradable albums; I didn’t pay 12 bucks for something that’s going to melt away if I spill water on it. But I digress…
Plus the album smells like cotton candy, and not just a little whiff. Its nauseating that gave me headache throughout listening to this album. If this is how Katy smells like on a daily basis. I would say to stop standing near the cotton candy machine for perfume.
Now the fun part…the songs itself…
Teenage Dream : The albums title track, what’s an album without one? I actually had high hopes for this song when I heard her perform it live on David Letterman but all I got was studio mixed fodder with drab robotic vocals.
Last Friday Night [T.G.I.F.] : A rehash of Kesha’s oh so annoying “Tik Tok” with Katy Perry on vocals.
California Gurls (featuring Snoop Dogg) : Automatic skip. I can’t stand this song when it’s played on the radio plus its origins on why it was recored are just downright asinine.
SOURCE by roflrazzi
Who do you call when you want to start a rap war these days? Tupac’s dead. Biggie’s gone. How about Katy Perry? Yes, please. She wrote “California Gurls” as a response to Jay-Z hit, “Empire State of Mind.” Katy Perry said, “I bet Tupac is rolling in his grave” over Jay-Z’s ode to New York. Clearly, she had to represent.
Just a refresher for you of “California Gurls” gangsta vocal stylings: “Hangin’ out, bikinis, zucchinis, martinis, no weenies.” Hmm, zucchinis? And, no weenies? Don’t think Tupac would approve. At all. But cheers for trying, kiddo.
Firework : I still can’t believe I’m still listening to this album. I lost interest in this song after the first minute elapsed. Just skimming trough the rest then fully skipped.
Peacock : As much as Katy tries to defend the song that its about the bird and not about the beef injector every male has in their crotch, the constant double entendres leading to her fascination for a erect phallus destroys her credibility
Plus the sampled drum beat from Toni Basil’s “Mickey” doesn’t help out the song at all. Rather listen to Toni’s one hit wonder than then this piece of rotting crap.
Circle the Drain : Sounded interesting after the first few seconds but just turned into auto-tuned crap. Plus this lyric caught my eye…
You say you have to write your rhymes,
Whatever helps you sleep at night
You've become what you despise,
A stereotype
You think you're so rock and roll,
But you're really just a joke.
Seriously? Whether it’s trying to lash out with her little spat with Lady Gaga or any other person, it’s a failed attempt at it.
The One That Got Away : The opening lyrics struck my eye in disgust:
Summer after high school when
we first met
We make out in you mustang
to Radiohead
I really want to know this. Who the fuck makes out to Radiohead? This coming from someone who has all their albums and Radiohead is NOT make out music. Would you make out to this mans music?
(Obvious joke since this isn’t the best photo of Thom Yorke ((see photo on my page)) and mean no harm to him since I love all his work.) OK Computer, Kid A, Amnesiac, In Rainbows, take your pick out of all their albums. It is not make out music. But hey, if it’s a way to show people who buy this album to competent music. I’m for it. She must think Videotape and All I Need are ultimate make out songs. I could go on and on…
“You would make out to Radiohead.” –my own mother -_-
E.T. : A failed attempted at Katys own hand in trying to emulate a Lady Gaga song. Next.
Who Am I Living For? : To be honest, this is one of the choice cuts that I liked on this flaming turd of an album. Let’s leave it at that.
Pearl : I’m kinda starting to doubt Katy Perry’s research skills when she writes her songs, or at least the marketing executives:
She is a pyramid
But with him she's just a grain of sand
This loves too strong like Mice and Men
Squeezing out the life that should be let in
Considering that I read the book in high school, there really is no love story in Of Mice And Men. Research before you write and make a fool out of yourself or you’ll be another Lil Wayne, saying that you “, break fast like Tom Petty, y'all just petty."
Stay in school kids!
Hummingbird Heartbeat : A pseudo rock number with atrocious lyrics worse than Orianthi’s “According To You.”
Not Like the Movies : At last, the closing track. Once again, a rare choice cut in this album but that’s an understatement. Katy does her best Amy Lee impersonation in this quiet acoustic piece but just falls flat on its face. A small gleaming hope in her vocal abilities and possibility, a musical shift. She could be Ani DiFranco but that’s just sadly a pipedream
I can’t say the other two hidden tracks since the Passion Pits mix of California Gurls is just awful and I love the Passion Pit but the Kaskade Club Remix of Teenage Dream is actually quite listenable. Better than the original.
In concusion, theres better pop albums out there, Teenage Dream isn’t one of them. Lady Gaga’s The Fame Monster, Gorillaz's Plastic Beach, Both Little Dragon’s and La Roux’s self-titled debut albums serve as amazing pop albums.
Plus Katy Perry is famous mainly for looking exactly like a Photoshop of Zooey Deschanel's face on a porn actress's body. She & Him need more followers. Go buy both their albums people! Zooey is a million more times hotter and competent than Katy.
But none the less, tl;dr and for those that did I applaud you for reading my rambling…
