A lot has been said about 9/11. Some positive, some negative, some far out. As for me, I still stand by on what I've said about 9/11 and my opinions. For some that did not read about it, you can see it here on my blog but I'll leave some excerpts...
The people who did it WERE NOT Muslims, They were fanatics.
Real Muslims condemn terrorism.
And heres some actual Qur'anic verses that vouch for REAL Muslim beliefs. Once again, credit goes to friend of mine.
Oh you who believe!
Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to God,
even against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin,
and whether it be against rich or poor,
for God can best protect both.
Follow not the cravings of your hearts, lest you swerve,
and if you distort justice or decline to do justice,
verily God is well acquainted with all that you do.
Qur'an 4:135
The recompense for an injury
is an injury equal thereto (in degree),
but if a person forgives and makes reconciliation,
his reward is due from God,
for God loves not those who do wrong.
But indeed, if any do help and defend themselves
after a wrong done to them,
against such there is no cause of blame.
The blame is only against those who oppress men
with wrongdoing and insolently transgress
beyond bounds through the land,
defying right and justice.
For such there will be a penalty grievous (in the Hereafter).
But indeed, if any show patience and forgive,
that would truly be an affair of great resolution.
Qur'an 42:40-43
Goodness and evil are not equal.
Repel evil with what is better.
Then that person with whom there was hatred,
may become your intimate friend!
And no one will be granted such goodness
except those who exercise patience and self-restraint,
none but people of the greatest good fortune.
Qur'an 41:34-35
Ahh, so true...
One year passed and still stand by it, along with my belief that 9/11 was a lie and a planned attack by the United States government. Still refer to the blog for reasons why. Plus I will not listen to your complaints since I got them last year I posted the said opinion by actual New Yorkers. And I want to make this clear.
If I have offended, I am sorry. I didn't mean to show that I do not have remorse to those who have died in the attack. The poor souls were just in the crossfire in a wide scale conspiracy. Also on the ninth anniversary of 9/11, Americans stopped, as they should, and reflected, whatever they were doing, just to sit there, reflect, do nothing, say nothing - just like Bush did nine years ago when he got the news.
But in the end, whenever we keep obsessing about 9/11, the terrorists win. We don't need to totally forget about it, but we need to move on and stop obsessing over it because if we live in sadness and fear, terrorism has worked.
And for the record, if Americans that think terrorist is a synonym for middle east Muslims should be punched repeatedly in the face unless they're under the age of 10. Seriously no one that's even pre-pubescent should be dumb enough to not know what a terrorists is.
Now for Burn a Qur'an Day.
I HIGHLY disapprove and not the answer. Just ignorance.
I mean, if a bunch of people got together and said "Hey, lets order a bunch of free Christian bibles and burn them..." you can bet your ass there would be some kind of huge freakin' uprising. But, people think it's alright just because it's the holy book of a controversial religion?
It just pisses me off that people can be so ignorant and that this is being broadcasted overseas which gives the idea that Americans are like this in reality most of them are not.
It's pretty much sad that this country was founded on religious tolerance.
But all in all, smile because the world is a gift since were all in this together & wish me me a safe journey if you still like me and you're not one of those people I have managed to offend by doing nothing.
Yours truly...
